Tyger by Guilherme Marcondes

Tyger

I remember watching this video my freshman year of college and it has always stuck with me. It is a short film by Guilherme Marcondes. The short film was inspired by "The Tyger" by Sir William Blake. It has won over 20 awards around the world (and you can definitely tell why). The 'Tyger' itself is a large puppet controlled by 3 people wearing all black in Japanese theatre style (I believe?). Everything from the music to the color scheme is strong and bold. The whole feel of it (to me) is sort of carnival-like. Very beautiful.
