The Mole People

I was reading my Google Reader updates (it's useful but really not aesthetically appealling...) and found this piece (and interview) by Jeremyville posted by Format Magazine (issue #39).



I was surprised to see mole people at the bottom left hand corner. It reminded me of a book I started to read this semester for class about the people living under New York City. (I haven't had time to finish it, but what I've read was really interesting). The Mole People: Life in the Tunnels Beneath New York City by Jennifer Toth.



Both Jeremyville's work and Jennifer Toth's book are worth giving a try.
