Yuko Shimizu/Yayoi Kusama

Yuko Shimizu is currently one of my favorite illustrators. She is a graduate from SVA and not the creator of Hello Kitty.

Last summer I purchased a collaboration T shirt from Uniqlo with Yayoi Kusama. I didn't look her up until recently and I found, though not illustrations, the patterns she uses to be quite similar to Shimizu's (though Kusama has been around longer)
