Polaroids

In response to the soon-to-come death of polaroid photos, I thought it'd be appropriate to post some polaroid-using artists.

First off is Patrick Winfield. He has a series, 'composites', that uses polaroids in a collage-type fashion, some Hockney-esque, and others more abstract.

Second is the photographer Yasumasa Yonehara ('Yone') who is well known for his style of polaroid photography of pretty women. This photo is a collaboration with the artist Parra from his show YONE EST AMOUREUXxx.

This photo, at least to me, resembles some of Kaws' early works of adding flat characters to photos.
